A couple in the United States was renovating their bathroom when they suddenly heard bizarre noises late at night. The wife became quite scared, thinking that someone might have broken into their home. To ease her anxiety, she decided to investigate the bathroom. When she entered the bathroom, she was in for a surprise: a dog had poked its head out of a hole in the floor but was stuck and whimpering. Fortunately, the dog was rescued and reunited with its owner after being contacted.
According to reports from international media, Kyndal Bret, who lives in Tennessee, USA, was in the midst of renovating her bathroom when, one night last month, she heard strange noises coming from the bathroom. Feeling afraid and thinking someone might have intruded into their home, she decided to record the situation with her mobile phone while checking what was happening in the bathroom.
Kyndal uploaded the video to social media, and from the footage, you can see her initially looking concerned. However, when she walked into the bathroom, she saw a dog’s head poking out of the floor, which startled her. She exclaimed, “This isn’t our dog!” She then turned the camera to capture their own dog waiting outside the bathroom, confirming that the dog in the bathroom was a stray.
At that moment, the little dog helplessly stuck out its tongue and looked at Kyndal. She was charmed by the dog’s cuteness and gently asked, “Who are you? How did you get in here? You cute baby.” Kyndal was worried that the dog might suffocate or get injured in the hole in the floor, so she immediately called for help and stayed with the dog. Luckily, the hole was not too narrow to obstruct the dog’s breathing, and the rescue team was able to safely extricate it.
Kyndal speculates that the dog might have entered her home due to the influence of a storm and ended up in the bottom part of her house. Using information from the dog’s collar, she was able to contact the owner and reunite the dog with them.
This video later went viral online, sparking many humorous comments from netizens, such as “Stay calm; it’s just the local inspector making sure your renovation meets the regulations,” “Do you have a doggie door in your bathroom floor?” and “So, if you open your bathroom floor, a dog grows out of it?”
